GTAIV Minimizing to Desktop

In game, I'm just driving and it suddenly just minimizes to the desktop.

The minimizing issue in games often happens when you use a non-activated Windows 7 version.

Or maybe you have some sort of program installed that becomes active now and then that sets the windows focus on that program?

Have a look at your TaskManager and look for wermgr.exe" (Windows Problem Reporting) - End it.

Some people reported that this program opens and closes over and over again resulting in minimizing every full screen program so the desktop shows.
