I am having very low fps in some games. I couldnt figure out what my problem was considering I have a failing psu atm. I wasnt sure if my psu had damaged something from when it decides to randomly shutoff.
The card 6870 1gb xfx clocks where put back to stock to test what might be the problem. Catalyst verson is 13.11 BETA. I had 13.9 previous to my uninstall of the ccc.
I have recreated this problem 3 times so far. On games Fear 1, Injustice Gods among us, Xrebirth, I seen super low fps. X rebirth was 1-2fps, injusticed appeared to play in slow motion. And fear one was stuttering from 25-44 fps.
I uninstalled my ccc and all associated amd drivers and programs. I then unplugged the internet from the pc. And restarted and booted back up. I used driver sweeper and removed the remains. And rebooted. I then installed a fresh copy of ccc, and rebooted. Then plugged the internet back in. And my fps is normal again. All games are playable. No issues, till I reboot again. I recreated this and done this whole process 3 times now. If I reboot again after reinstalling the fresh CCC. My fps will return to unplayable numbers. I have no clue as to whats up here. It honestly sounds kinda crazy to me. Thats why I recreated the problem so many times to make sure this was actually happening. Side note, I just recently installed a new SSD. And shortly after my psu decided to start acting up. Now this problem has come up. In advanced I would like to thank anyone who can provide any information or help to resovle this issue before I throw my pc out the window. :l
