Alright, so currently I use a 3570k OC'd stable to 4.2 and I stream constantly to Twitch, my processor cannot handle it, it peaks at 100% and averages between 85-97% its rare to see the 85% by the way. Paired with my 3570k I have a GTX 780 OC edition, 8 gb of corsair vengeance, my other hardware is fine, but I'm torn between the 2700k and the 3770k, the 2700k has great overclocking potential, and well, the 3770k not so much, and before you say oh just get a haswell, I cant afford another motherboard and processor, and I'm fine with 3rd gen honestly or whatever gen the 2700k is as well, if its better. So the 3770k has the multi-threaded stuff right? I believe that could benefit streaming alot, but i've seen some streamers using the 2700k and its amazing, so I need some help to make the jump to a big boy processor. Also it isnt my internet either causing low streaming quality, my processor just cant take the load, 720p streaming at 60fps just 100% all day maybe 95% if im lucky.

The question you're asking might be best answered with some benchmark comparison over opinion. I have a 2700k and have had a real fun time OC'ing it but does that meet your actual needs? Have a look at some of the numbers.

Well if it came down to me rendering videos in vegas it would be a different story, but thankfully I wont have to make an even harder choice between the two when it comes to that, I know they dont really gain performance over the 3570k when it comes to gaming, but idk, i got lost within all those benchmarks =/

In keeping it as simple as we are the z77 and 3770K are made for each other. Z77 and 2700k aren't thought you can run on that chip set there are features that just wont be. for one 2700K is PCIe 2.0 while 3770K and presumably your board are 3.0.
