So I've got a few questions for you guys. This is my first build. My budget is ~$1600 - 1700 and my needs are gaming with some game development (nothing render heavy). The monitor will be the first thing upgraded in the future. I am well aware that the 780 is overkill for 1080p but for now I just want a working computer as soon as possible so I cut some cost there.

1. I have a desk and a copy of Windows, do I have EVERYTHING I need in this parts list? (cables, case fans, little things I don't know about, etc.)

2. Did I pick a good gtx 780? I thought it looked good but I wasn't sure. Are there any better ones? (quieter, cooler, etc). I looked at the MSI Lightning but wasn't sure if it was worth the extra money (~$30)

3. Did I pick a good case? I don't know if a mid tower will be too hard to manage for a first timer or fit with my gpu choice. Also is this a good case in general for air flow and quality.

If there is any other advice you'd give me that'd be appreciated. Thanks.
