Hey
So I have an ASUS ea-n66r and was using it in ethernet adapter mode to connect my pc to my already existing home network (Quite successfully, actually. Personally, I had no trouble connecting to the web GUI and settings initially. As i browsed other threads it seemed that that was the main issue concerning this device, my problem is a slightly different one). After a power outage, windows would not identify the network anymore and therefore would not connect to the internet. I rebooted my router and my ea-n66r and thus accessed the web GUI and settings again by pressing the WPS button on both devices, just as I had done the first time round. I used the web GUI to reestablish a connection and configure the settings all over again. Windows STILL would not identify a network and allow access to the internet. The strange thing is, the ea-n66r was a solid blue colour, indicating it was connected to my home network , AND the web GUI stated it has a very strong connection with the parent AP. I repeated that same procedure many times to no avail. Previously, the network was called "network 2" and would be identified as soon as i turned on the ea-n66r. Now, no such luck. Does anyone know what could be going wrong here?
Cheers :)
