I've never hooked up a power supply this massive before. I've got a cable that comes off the AX760 that has two 8-pin connectors on the end. Can I use that for the two 8-pin ports, or do I need to use a second cable for the second 8-pin?

If I need a second 8-pin, can I use the one that is labelled CPU?

Thanks very much!

Don't use the CPU cord. If you have two 8-pin PCI-e connectors on a single cable, you can use those.

Both 6-pin and 8-pin connectors are supposed to handle standardized loads. (I think it's 75w and 150w respectively)

Corsair is a reputable manufacturer, so two 8-pin connectors should meet or surpass their expected current capability..even if they are in a single cable.

It's an 80+ Platinum PSU (Amazon had a sale), so my sincere hope is that it will do what it's told to. ;)
