Will my gen1 i7 bottleneck a r9 280x?

Hey guys, I was thinking about upgrading from my 5850 xfire to a 280x and I was wondering if my CPU could handle it.
My cpu: Intel Core I7 860 @2.8GHZ 1156

Yes your cpu will work just fine with the upgrade to a 280X just make sure you have a good quality psu with over 500 watts to run it properly.
You could also overclock the cpu with a good quality cooler to give the gpu more juice.
