Hey guys, I'm looking at upgrading my current PC and have a few questions about it. Here the my current Specs:

CPU: FX-8350
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 3 GTX 770
RAM: G-Skill 16Gb (8x2) 1600Mhz
MOBO: SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0
BOOT: Samsung 840 250Gb SSD
STORAGE: 1Tb WD Black
CASE: Antec P280
DVD: So cheap, random one ;)
PSU: Corsair HX 750 Watt Gold

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, Mobo, Cooler and later on my GPU. I will be upgrading to a i7-4960x, Rampage Extreme IV and a Corsair H100i cooler. My questions are:

1. Will the mobo fit in my case (PC Part Picker says it won't fit)?

2. Do I need a Corsair H100i? Or could I get a H80i? I'm only looking to OC a little, maybe to 4.3GHz.

3. What is the best ram config for the mobo, I saw somewhere that it was better to fill four dimms at once?

4. Can my PSU run all of it and a future GTX 780Ti?

Thanks in advance!!! I really excited to get this build underway!!

Solution
The Asus Rampage IV Extreme is an E-ATX board and you case accepts XL-ATX , ATX , Micro ATX and Mini ATX. The Asus board measures 12"x10.6" and yet a E-ATX board is supposed to measure 13"x12". An XL-ATX measures 13.5x10.3 so the Asus board is closer to the XL-ATX then E-ATX. I think that's why pcpartpicker is having issues with the case. It should fit.

I have the Rampage board with an Intel i7-3930k and it's a much better platform for gaming especially if you go with multiple video cards. Currently it's OC'd to 4.7ghz and running smooth , this board has so many options it's ridiculous , I just set the Gamer OC in the bios and it runs at the 4.7ghz.
This board has 8 ram slots so you won't be filling them and it has a 6 pin power...

Its not that I'm not satisfied, my system works like a charm, its just I want the best performance out there so I don't have to upgrade for years to come. Adding another 770 is an idea that has crossed my mind, but I'm starting with CPU power then go onto GPU power. Like I said, I will be upgrading to a GTX 780ti in the future. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I would do the same as razvan_mz. To spend that much money on that when something the same speed will be less than half the price next year is mad. Just SLI the 770 and then when you need more power there will be something much better out by then.

I'm not planning to buy it this year, my plan is for next year, maybe even late next year. I just need to know the answers to the questions I asked before. I might SLI the cards, right now I'm just looking for CPU power.

The 750w PSU will run a 780Ti and you can get either one of the heat sinks , both will do the job.

If you are looking at buying maybe late next year I'd wait until late next year and ask again. Who knows what will be out by then. Nothing stopping you taking 2 770s over to a new CPU and Motherboard when the time comes. Also DDR4 RAM should be out by then too.
