HD 7850 Crosfire vs R9 270x

I have 1GB saphire HD 7850. I could buy another for $125, or sell the 1st card for $100, and buy the r9 270x: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127761

How does this card compare to the hd 7850's crossfire? I heard that the crossfire setup is equivalent to an HD 7970, and these cards have very little, if any micro stutter.

I play BF4 alot. How well do you think the 760 is compared to AMD for BF4, and when they release mantle?

i recommand 1 high end solution instead of sli or crossfire because not all games support that technology and somethimes has performance issues.

id say 760. ive got one and works great.

similar performance to 670 and cheaper

well if there the same price id get the 670 and overclock it. usually i recommand the 760 cuz its cheaper and just a few % slower than the 670. also if u wait till black friday u could prob get an amd 280x for 250$.

also for around the same price u could get a amd 7970. for 250 on sale.

best bet if u wanna wait id wait till black friday and scope gtx 770s maybe at 275$. or amd 280x or 7970 on sale

well 1. theyve only got 1gig of vram and games utilize atleast 2gbs today and somethimes a bit more. 2. sli or crossfire cards dont stack v-ram. so even do u got 2x1gb of video memory still really only got 1gig in sli. 3. in theory its similar to a 7950 in performance thats if the game supports crossfire. not all games do and not all games scale well.

in my opinion id saveup for a 7950 or a 670 or 760. but thats me.

no. 2x1= 1 card been 1gig times 2. and 2x2. meaning 1 card been 2 gigs and second cards being 2 gigs. they dont stack.

games require more than 2 gigs of vram. so its not logical to add a second 1gig card when games are using more than 1 gig of videomemory and u cant stack video-memory.
