I'm looking for an 800$ build for the next gen. I was going to buy a PS4, but I might as well build a PC since it would be a better value. I'd like to run games on high settings, but I'm not sure how good a PC can be for 800$. Can you guys leave how much frames per second some games can run at on the build you write?

depends on the monitor. i'll go with a 1080p monitor and 60hz refresh rate since that's the screen 90% of gamers play on.

On a 1080p monitor with 60hz refresh rate. you'll see 60fps on the highest graphic settings of any game on the market.

(i skipped a cd/dvd drive because i've NEVER once used mine on my current pc. that's right, never once, I don't even have it plugged in right now. It's just sitting there, taking up space. I still don't even know if it works. I think they're a useless piece of equipment frankly, and would rather have a memory card reader)
