So, i'm fairly new to this website/forum and Graphics Cards in general. I have purchased a few in the past but I'm am just lost on how and what are the best deals I am able to get as well as a few general questions.

First off, I'm looking for a graphics card ~100$ that can play recent games at a solid FPS (35-45).
I've looking into some, and I found :

Sapphire (11211-03-20G) Radeon HD 7730 1GB GDDR5
- 800 MHz Clock, 4500 MHz Memory
- PCI-Express 3.0, Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, VGA

Sapphire (11202-00-20G) Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR5
- 800 MHz Clock, 4500 MHz Memory
- PCI-Express 3.0, Dual-Link DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI

HIS iCooler H775F1GD Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5
PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

I would like to know if I could possibly get a better graphics card for around that price range, and which ones you would recommend to me.

I'm also wondering what the difference between the Names like "sapphire" or "HIS"

Finally, I'm kind of worried that my PC won't be able to fit these cards, i'm not sure how to check my PC's options/size so I would like to know how to see.

Thanks

Well firstly you can get a better card and I'd suggest the Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition. Only $94 atm.

Free game too but probably some old one like AMD usually offers.

Sapphire, HIS, MSI, ASUS etc. are all companies that take reference cards(released by AMD and NVidia) tune them, add aftermarket fans ie radiators, maybe change the PCB and then re-release them. They're all what we like to call 'after market' companies. some are better than other in terms of what the product they modified, their customer service etc.

Worried about the dimensions? Well take a measurment of your current card from expansion slot to the other end of the PCB. And compare it to the dimensions of the 7770 Ghz editon which is 8.66 inches. Find out the difference and see if the card won't pass your hard drive bay. So make sure you have atleast 9 inches of space to fit the card I suggested.

HD 7790 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - $100 w/ $10 rebate

probably the best card you'll get at $100... nothing else in that performance bracket and price... now if you want to take advantage of an amazing sale... here is a 7870 ghz edition for $129.99. $30 more and 40% more performance

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Why not get this 7790

Though the 7870 is honestly out of his price range.

My Computer is an HP Pavilion P6000 Series with a Processor of AMD Phenom II X4 830 Processor (2.8 GHz).

I would like to know if any of the cards you suggested would be compatible and "Fit" in my computer. Thanks :D

the 7790 is a small card and will fit any case. the 7870 however is a bit longer... it should fit your case but you'll want to measure the inside to make sure.

Hmm... Please try to find out what your PSU is. How much watts it has aswell as how many amps on the 12V+ rail. Also count how many 2+6 pin, 6 pin and 8 pin adapters you have coming from the PSU. This is just to make sure your PSU can actually handle any of these GPUs.

Also measure the distance in inches from your expansion slot to you hard drive bay to see if you could fit one of these cards.

Any card should be compatible with your card so as long as you can power it and it can fit at PCI-E are backwards compatible. Though your CPU could bottleneck you if you were to upgrade the GPU
