hi!! guys

i have mi pphenom II X2 555, woks fine unlocked but lacks OC capability, but i want to do a little upgrade, and as my M5a88-M can handle any AMD CPU i dont know if this phenom II X6 1055T with a hyper 212+ will work fine may be @~4GHz and bigger BUS for 1600 RAM... at last better than the FX6300 with stock cooler as well as stock speed

i watched a lot of benchs and i think for most games could work better as an X4 with a supermasive OC... but for newer games that could use or could be optimised for more than 4cores, this X6 CPU will work fine??? lets think in whatch dogs they reccomend FX6300 CPU (in AMD of course)

the phenom will cost like 35USD cheaper than a FX6300

and for last: an i3 really has a better performance in games??

also i will use this pc for 3D render, autoCAD, creo parametric and ultra big data bases, my actual phenom does fine but slower than my bros i5 2500k stock

thanks

thanks guys... but the phenom cores are much better than the FX even better tahn piledriver, as far as i know, so the speed is subjetive, the guy who is selling me says he uses @ 4.2GHz all cores...

if i wait i would go with FX8320... but twice the price...

by the way those bench are in games who uses 4cores well BF4 not but i dont see any gain with the phenom X4... and the phenom 1100T at stock speed, and surely with 1333 RAM... while phenom X4 has stock speed 3.7.. if i push the 1055T@ 4GHz as X4 i think could be paired with FX6300 (at last)... is a shame that games arent optimiced to run with 6 real core...
i think there is no much future whith the phenom...

i dont know what to do :S

well if i spend money i would buy the FX8320... but it costs 250% more... BUT I CANT SEE 2.5 BETTER PERFORMANCE... also this generation is about to end when DDR5 RAM came out to the marcket better to "upgrade" with the phenom and save money for the truly next gen computers ...

also i think my actual unlocked phenom has the same performance in games than the FX6100

also there is this thread
