So i've had this problem for almost a year. I have tried everything i'v found on the internet and it still hasn't gone away. While I'm playing games, at a random time(normally no more then an hour) my screen will go black, and then i can still hear sound for few more seconds and then nothing.... sometimes i get an error message after i restart and sometimes i don't this last crash that just happened about 5 minutes ago says this.

-Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 116
BCP1: FFFFFA8011C36010
BCP2: FFFFF88011A2A2BC
BCP3: FFFFFFFFC000009A
BCP4: 0000000000000004
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

I don't ever see a blue screen it just goes black.

My system specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
MOBO: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
SSD: ADATA Premier Pro SP900 ASP900S3-128GM-C 2.5" 128GB
HDD: TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 7200 RPM
GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1gb
PSU: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W
CASE: RAIDMAX AGUSTA ATX-605BW

I built the PC in February and have had this problem from the start it didn't matter much before because it only seems to happen when i play games that require more to run and i was only playing stuff like league of legends and World of Warcraft at the time. Recently i'v been playing more graphically intensive games and have been getting this issue almost daily.

The main games im getting this issue on are:
Tera Rising
Battlefield 4 & 3
Tribes Ascend
DC Universe Online

So far i have tried the following:
- Purchased an entirely new PSU which is the corsair above.
- Tried running with just 1 stick of ram and it happened with each stick.
- Cleared out video drivers and did a fresh install
- Bought an aftermarket CPU cooler and a new case to get good cooling.
- I have Tried both placing my GPU in a different slot and i tried using a 550 ti as well
- I have used Nvidia inspector to reduce memory clock and base clock by 60MHz
My CPU temps are between 35c-60c

If anyone can figure this out i would love you forever because at this point i'v run out of ideas and i'v tried most of the fixes that have worked for other people with a similar sounding problems.

Note: this problem does go away when i use a Geforce GT240 which you dont need a 6-pin for if that counts for anything but i cant use it to play most games. Also i am using a dual monitor 1080p setup.

first use whocrashed to read minidump in plain text http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed then do a memtest at least 5 times on each memory sticks .

Alright i ran whocrashed and from what i can tell its saying my issue is nvidia drivers, iv cleared the drivers off the system just last night and reinstalled them and still had the issue so the only thing i can think to do is go to an older version but i dont know which version to go back to. anyone know which version is good? my card is a gtx 650 ti

Did you try 314.22? I had some freezing issue few weeks before and this was stable version for me. Now on 331.82 without problems. Also check Clean install when installing drivers, or use driver sweeper

The crashes i'm having were happening when i was on version 331.82. iv just cleared the drivers and downgraded to 320.49 and am testing it right now if i still crash ill try 314.22 since that seems to be what is most recommended when downgrading.

I'v tried switching the slot its in a few times and it doesnt seem to help, i downgraded my drivers to 320.49 and after about 20 minutes i crashed so now i have downgraded to 314.22 because it seems to be what most people recommend downgrading to and i was able to play for an hour with no crash i dont have any more time tonight to test it but ill make sure to try and do a few hours tomorow to see if i get a crash and let you guys know the results

I have the same problem signature as you. Just wondering if it was the memory that was the problem.
