Hi guys I'm planning to build a PC this December and wanna go with this http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-a-pc-fx-6300-overclocking,3617.html

but then someone told me why don't just wait for few more months for ps4's graphic card to be out on market. I don't really get what that mean but I assume it's that after ps4 has been released on this December here in Singapore then Nvidia/AMD gonna make a new cpu or gpu that match ps4/xbox one graphics and prices will drop(?) I'm getting GTX 760. I'm not sure or I shouldn't be bothered by it since I just wanna build a cheap pc even there's new cpu the price will be out from my reach. Please advice me thanks!

Also does AMD FX-6350 Six-Core better than AMD FX-6300 Six-Core for gaming? or could someone recommend me with something that about the same price but maybe better performance CPU to work with GTX 760 I just wanna play game like Batman arkham on decent resolution on 42" LED TV like 1080p. Thanks again!

I don't know who told you that, but they are not going to make a new chip to match the performance

The PS4's graphics capabilities in raw performance should be between the 7850 and 7870 (the Xbox One's would be close to the 7790), though overall performance should be much better once developers take full advantage of the specs of the PS4, though for the moment the 760 should smoke the PS4 in performance easily

The FX 6350 is essentially a higher clocked FX 6300 so might as well just go with an FX 6300 and overclock that. If you can save up a little bit (not sure about the pricing there), I'd at least look at getting an i5 4430 (and a compatible LGA1150 motherboard) which would pair very well with a GTX 760

It's been sometime since I looked into it (especially since I don't care about consoles), but the GPU in the PS4 is supposed to marginally faster than the Radeon HD 7850 or HD 7870.

The Batman series is pretty easy on system requirements. Below is a benchmark. However, the test rig has an i7-4770k running at stock speed. The game is CPU dependent so the more powerful the CPU the higher the performance. The 2nd benchmark show various CPUs + GTX Titan performance @ 1920x1200 resolution.

Haha burn, marginally faster due to developers being able to take full advantage of the locked down hardware in front of them perhaps?

Not sure how true this is, but apparently the 8 core Jaguar CPU is less than a quarter of the power of a 3570k

Then again, even if they're running on x86 architecture, we hopefully might see better optimized games for the PC (for the moment at least)

No, based on the actual specs of PS4's GPU.

Probably true. The Jaguar core is an updated Bobcat core with about a 15% increase in IPC performance. Bobcat CPUs are those AMD E-300/E-400 series APUs found mostly in netbooks.

Not sure if the Jaguar cores used in Xbox One and PS4 are actual 8 core CPUs or merely two quad cores glued together. I never bothered to look into it.
