SOLVED.... reset BIOS to optimal defualt

Hello all, hope someone can help:

My Graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB HDMI) has stopped working after upgrading RAM (Mobo D945GNT).

I am using the PC as a media centre, using HDMI output onto my LCD TV. It was working (although a bit

sluggishly while screening HD 1080) with only 2GB RAM.

So I bought 2GB of RAM and installed it while removing graphics card as per Intel notes ("Remove the

PCI Express x16 video card before installing or upgrading memory to avoid interference with the memory

retention mechanism."). I used the on-board VGA graphics to check all is working on reboot: Win7 64bit

started up with no problems, showing 3.25GB usable RAM (as expected).

Then I re-installed the PCI graphics card.... PC starts, fans whirr, no beeps..... and WIN 7 doesnt

boot up anymore.

I took the old RAM out leaving just the new 2GB RAM and ... the PC starts up again with no problems.

I put the old RAM and new RAM in (4GB in total)... took the PCI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card out (using

onboard VGA graphics) and WIN 7 starts up with 4GB RAM.

With 4GB RAM and PCI card both installed..... WIN 7 doesnt boot.

If I use just 2GB of RAM (really any configuration of old and new RAM in any of the 4 slots, as long as only 2GB)... the HDMI graphics card works and Win 7 starts.

Is there something I havent done/need to do to get the PC going again using the HDMI graphics?

Any help much appreciated

System SPecs:
Intel D945GNT MOBO - DUAL CORE (2 X 2.8GHZ)
4GB SDRAM (two matched pairs)
ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB HDMI
WIN 7 64bit

SOLVED....
Sorted it eventually by resetting the BIOS to "Optimal Default"..... I thought I had already done this (but I forget what I have done to my different computers)... old age...
HDMI and 3.25GB all working as expected....
