PSU for HD 4890

hi all
i want to buy a used hd 4890 and i forgot about my PSU so i wanted to ask if my PSU can handle the new card or it will burn everything :p
here is my PSU in the pic

here is my specs (its an old PC :( )
core 2 duo E4600 2.4GHZ
Gigabyte GCM945
2Gb ram
200 GB HDD
DVD-ROM

and do you think it will improve my setup for gaming or it wont work as it should with my specs ?

not the one you mentioned i doubt its got enough volts and amps for that card, something with the same watts and better quality would be ok

HD 4890 requires 500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector.
I think that you should change your power supply because this power supply doesn't seems that much good.
get a new PSU.

for your system a 400w would be what you actualy require not 500w(they always state them around 100 -150w more than actual required power to avoid problems with low quality power supply units) you will need a new one just consider about future upgrade path how much power you will be needing so that you wouldn't need to buy it the second time

so you say i can use my PSU or should i get the 420 W that i mentioned ?
