hey guys... need your help!!
Will anything happen to the processor and gpu and the rest of the things in the cpu if it turned off suddenly ?? not really shutting down bt just switching it off!! does that cause anything to the PC??
And thanks for your help!!! :)

Solution
If say the power suddenly fails, the computer components are not going to go up in smoke.

Likelihood is that you'll lose any unsaved information. Motherboard, CPU, GPU, RAM, etc will be just fine.

It's not recommended to just pull the power, but it won't kill your computer. Worst of the worst I've seen from power issues was fried power supply, but that can be prevented with a decent surge protector.

Yes It will affect your pc.
I am not sure about the processor and the GPU but this will surely affect your hard drive.
you will lost all the data from it or else your OS will not boot,
that means you will have to reinstall your OS and you'll lose all your data from your system drive.

The hard drive is the only thing you will affect, most of the rest of the components do not see a difference between a soft power down and suddenly losing power, for most of them it is just the motherboard no longer telling the PSU to be on and they quickly lose power, similar things happen when the PSU loses power and the outputs drop down to zero.

The hard drive is the only thing that sees a difference because your OS will make sure it has cleared everything from the write cache and gotten it onto the disk before powering down, often times when you save a file to disk it gets pushed onto the DRAM on the hard drive, if it is still there when you power down it gets lost as the DRAM loses state within milliseconds of losing power.
