How to save data from my near-death HDD ?

This morning, my HDD failed me, it's an external WD Elements 1.5TB 3.5 for desktop... No matter what I tried, it didn't run. So I tried my last method is to remove the hdd from the box. And it DID run, but with the abysmal average speed of 19KB/s (sometimes it did rise to 15MBs, but 99.99% of the time it's 19KB/s).

All my files are there... but the problem is, when I tried to copy it to my other HDD, many files took too long and result in "Unreadable source" (or whatever it is). Virus should not be a problem, since the slowness only happens with this drive.

The fun thing is, HD Tune SMART doesn't report anything serious, the only yellow area is Current Pending Sector that has a value of 935, the rest are white (but one area bugged me: Read Error Rate: 299736). I even run SEA tools to test it and also got a OK with SMART check, but it failed in the rest.

Can I still salvage whatever data left on my drive ? Or is it over for me ?
If I can still save my data, what should I do ?
