Yes that fps figure is low considering the GPU and the resolution you are playing the game. Your CPU is a clean bottleneck. Even my 3.5 year old i5 750 @ 3.4Ghz with a Radeon HD 7870XT getting around 60fps on BF3 @ 1080p, Ultra settings, everything maxed out. Still you are getting 40-50 fps, its smooth enough to enjoy the game. You may upgrade the monitor to a 1080p or higher that should make more load on to the GPU and enhances your gaming experience by have a bigger monitor also overclock the CPU which can improve the fps to some extend. If you do both of these things you can get rid of CPU bottlenecking......................

May not, but if you buy a higher resolution monitor that 15fps you said will get consumed by the montor having higher resolution that in turn puts more load on to the GPU thereby eliminating the CPU bottleneck. My English is not that good hope you understood what I said.:D

windows 7 or 8 ? fx preforms poorly in windows 7 but windows 8 improved the peformance and more ram is needed 4gb is taken up probly by your os if windows 7 its usually 1.5gb and windows 8 can vary to 2gb to 2.5gb

also depending on who your anti virus is with can take a nice junk of your ram and the worst ram hog program i have came across is skype

well i know nod 32 uses 512mb of ram for windows 7

windows 7 actually uses 2gb for 64 bit but for 32bit uses 1.5gb

that leaves you with 1.5gb left for gaming which isnt alot especially if crap is going on in the background with other programs.

so bump it up another 4gb and you should have plenty

also windows 7 will hinder it due to windows 7 is dumb and doesnt know what a module is.

seems low, I also have the 6300 and with my 7870 myst edition on max settings (everything maxed) I get an average of 70 fps and i play at a higher res. I use win8 never tested my fx on 7 much since it had problems enabling all 6 cores at once so i switched to 8 and all is well.
