Will i notice any difference in gaming with my i5 4670k if i downclock from 4.4 to 4.0 ? Because im getting some high temps when stretch testing with 4.4ghz @ 1.230v.
I do not think you will see 4-6fps difference between the overclock unless you are on low resolution. Here 2500K average similar min drops a little more at std http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-4-graphics-card-performance,3634-10.html
Yea, as rolli59 said the difference won't be significant or noticeable as it does depend more unpon the GPU and also i wouldn't be worried the effect it would have because my i7 3770k runs at 3.6GHz with my Nvidia Gtx 670 and i can still run battlefield 4 with ultra settings at a good framerate.

The thing is i get a maximum of 68-78 degrees while playing which is good , i was only thinking to downclock my cpu because i was getting high temps stretch testing. Should i base my temperature while playing games like bf4 ? or while stretch testing ?
