Hello there, thank you for taking time to read. So I definitely know my way around computers as I've been using them most of my life but am kind of limited on my hardware knowledge. I got an Hp Pavilion a few years ago and I know there are some limitations of a pre-built PC. I am looking to upgrade my graphics card as I think I could do much better for some newer games coming out.

I was hoping if I posted my Belarc Advisor profile you guys might have some thoughts. The motherboard is a really weird name. Any who, I was wondering if I can upgrade, 1. Are their any limitations to what I can get? 2. How do you guys get the most out of your Graphics cards (overclocking without killing it, stuff like that), 3. Without spending a million dollars, what decently priced card would you recommend? I am a novice is these realms and I know for certain my PC won't let me overclock my processor at all as it is locked by HP with my current setup. I've never had a complaint with my system, it is lightning fast for most stuff. The only time I notice a struggle is when I'm playing a super HD game like Splinter Cell Blacklist. I had to run it on lower settings for certain.

Without further ado, here's my Belarc Profile (well at least the pieces I want you to see for this discussion) :

Thank you so much in advance for your advice. I know my graphics card kind of sucks but I never really got hardcore into PC gaming until a few years ago. If you need more information that I didn't list please let me know.

A GTX 760 would be great, although you might need to purchase a new power supply. Do not quote me on that, I don't know the requirements for the 760. What I do know is that you can get a GTX760 super-clocked from EVGA for $290 area, and a new power supply, like a Corsair one (I prefer those, I got mine (750AX) for $100 and it is fully modular allowing better cable management and more air flow options.

Still to this date this build is very good but before I can awnser your question what is your budget? (the gpu is the bottleneck of your system)

Get an r9 280x and a coirsair cx600w psu as you'll need around a 600w to run this card. Your computer will no run ang games at ultra 1080p with no bottleneck.

Many thanks to all of you. It's hard to tell which one would really be better than the other, but I'm sure I can take the research from here. Glad you guys mentioned the power supply, I never even would have thought of that.
