Is this voltage too high for i5 4670k @ 4.1ghz ?

I just overclocked my 4670k from stock to 4.1ghz with 1.181v.

Is this voltage too high for such an overclock ?

If so , should i try less ? i was getting mid 80's degrees with prime95.

More about voltage high 4670k 1ghz
  1. What cooler are you running? If it is stock that is why the temps are high.
That voltage does not seem high for a loaded cpu.

Cooler is coolermaster v6gt. So is the voltage and temps fine ? idle is 29 degrees.

    Should i try a lower voltage ?
  5. You can try, but you will hit a point that it becomes unstable.

I do not think you will kill the cpu, it(those cpus) just runs hotter.
