I just overclocked my 4670k from stock to 4.1ghz with 1.181v.

Is this voltage too high for such an overclock ?

If so , should i try less ? i was getting mid 80's degrees with prime95.

More about : voltage high 4670k 1ghz

What cooler are you running? If it is stock that is why the temps are high.
That voltage does not seem high for a loaded cpu.

Cooler is coolermaster v6gt. So is the voltage and temps fine ? idle is 29 degrees.

You can try, but you will hit a point that it becomes unstable.

I do not think you will kill the cpu, it(those cpus) just runs hotter.
