Hello. Its gonna be the first time i will overclock the CPU.
I recently got an FX 8350 and placed it on my GA-970A-UD3 rev 1.2
Since im new with this, is there any way there could be a problem with this setup?

well the main OC boards for AMD chips are 990FX and 99X chipsets, not real sure if the 970 will work very well for you or not.

I've not played enough with the 970s to know. I know they have worse power phases going to the chips, I'm honestly not 100% sure they let you mess with the multi (not saying they don't just don't know) if you really plan to OC I would get a 99X or 990FX board.

I just upgraded from a Biostar TA970 with the FX-6300, and I got it OCd to 4.4GHz @ ~ 1.38V stable.
the only reason why I upgraded from that board was for a better crossfire solution.
But the 8350 will run hotter than the 6300.

Also, the main difference between the 970 and 990FX chipsets is the crossfire capability (among other things).
So in theory, the 970 is just as capable for overclocking as the 990FX.
