I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-6645 laptop with an i5-2450M 2.5GHz and an AMD Radeon 7670M video card with switchable graphics. Windows 7. A while ago, my brother installed a custom BIOS because the switchable graphics feature wasn't working, and that made things fine. Yesterday, I mentioned some screen tearing (not important right now), and he went into the BIOS and somehow disabled the integrated graphics, and now the computer boots up with no display, absolutely black. Nothing shows on the screen from the moment I press the power button and the "on" light turns on.

We looked up some solutions and found that resetting the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery should work, so we took it out for 20 minutes, put it back in, and nothing had changed. Then we took it out for probably 2-3 hours and still no display. I finally left the battery out overnight, probably about 16 hours, and still no display.

Any ideas on what I should do? I feel like it should be somewhat simple. I mean, if we turned it off, we should be able to turn it on again somehow, right?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Well I tried this and nothing seemed to happen. Anything else I should try?
