So since i've had some problems and i can't order my new rig yet i'm just reading and doing some more research, I'm still hanging towards intell, i've always had AMD CPU's but for once i wanna spend some more money and get a intell. How ever, i really want to be a 100% sure that i can do the things that i wanna do with this rig.

I7-4770k
GTX 760
Asus Maximus VI Hero
8GB Ram

1. Streaming 1080P If not 720P(Having mixed feelings if this is possible, BF4/CoD Ghost/Emulations)
2. Recording (Obviously shouldn't be a problem)
3. Running emulations i.e Zelda/Final Fantasy (PS2/Nintendo 64/gamecube/wii) While streaming.

So my main concern is, i'm running a AMD Phenom II X4 945 atm. Clocked @ 3.5 GHZ
My shiney new I7 will be clocked @ 3.4 Turbo @ 3.8? i believe.
Anyways i've never been able to afford really high end stuff or expensive stuff for my PC. And it always has been second hand stuff so i could still play the games that i want to play, But this time i wanna go big and i've been saving up for quite some time now to make this possible.

But back to my current CPU when ever i try to something like Zelda now, i'm not getting smooth frames. and what i really want to achieve is 60 frames while streaming 1080P

And the following games i'll be playing alot when i get my rig sorted.

Battlefield 4
Call Of Duty Ghost(when fixed)/black ops 2
Dota 2

Emulations
PS2/Nintendo/wii/gamecube

Final Fantasy
Zelda Ocarina Of Time Up to Skyward sword(This are the most important on my Emulation list)

So i really just wanna make sure i can stream these games @ 60 FPS with my rig.
And this is pretty much THE best i can afford atm, i'm not a rich guy, i've saved up alot of money ( for my doing ) for this rig. and really just wanna be a 100% sure i can do what i want to do with it!

And like i said, i really want to get intell, but i do want to be sure that i can do everything i want to do with it. Hope someone has some experiences with these problems and can help me a little bit,

Thanks!

I hate to say this, but for those emulation stuff you will need an i5 4670k or i7 4770k, since they have better single-threaded performance, and those emulators benefit from 2 cores usually. just a piece of advice for you, instead of i7 4770k go with i5 4670k since in games, there is no real difference between them and grab a better gpu, I advise you grab AMD r9-280x 3gb for 300$ or r9-290 for 400$ or on nvidia side gtx 770 4gb

So you would say a 4770k is the way to go?
And i already bought my GTX 760 a while ago so thats already done :p But if i would buy the i7 4770k, do you think/ are you sure i can do the stuff i wanna do?

BF4/Cod/Emulation While streaming. Not all at once Ofcourse haha :p

no doubt about it, this is the first time I recommend Intel on this website, those emulators will run smoothly on Intel CPUs, due to their better single threaded or raw process, and yes if you have bought the gpu, grab the i7 4770k you can future proof this way as well.
don't forget to close the post when you feel you have no other questions

you won't have problem with any game, also i7-4770k is stronger than i5 4670k multi threaded, specially when it comes to streaming, also it future proofs your rig, this cpu is tailored for you needs, grab it and have fun.

While I'd recommend the i7 too (cheaper, lower TDP and -arguably- better performing), you don't have to worry very much for those emulators. I ran a PS2 emulator on a first gen i3/GT 310M laptop and I played FFX just fine.

For BF3 and other games, there's a plethora of reviews so you know exactly what to expect from your GPU.
