The BenQ RL2455HM is on sale right now for 209$ (70$ off/25%) I am a PC gamer that primarily plays RTS/MOBA/MMOs and occasionally FPS games. Is it worth spending the money on this 60Hz "gaming monitor" and if not could any of you suggest a good 24" monitor?

To be honest you will see just about the same quality picture as under an Asus 24 inch 60hz. I bought one of the BenQ's awhile back and was using it alongside 2 of my Asus VS248H-P, really cant even tell a difference.
The Asus VS248H-P is anywhere from $110-$170 depending on where you get it.

Not sure where you heard that, good gaming quality usually translates to good quality in general. The picture quality is great, most the time I am watching 1080p BluRay on one of my monitors while sitting here working, looks better than the expensive (brand new and 120mhz) TV in my living room.
