I7 4770k + Memory OC questions

Hey guys,

So i want to OC my CPU, but i do not know what to do first, i OC'ed an i5 4770k before but that was only changing the multiplier to 40 (4.00 ghz OC) and i didn't even touch the voltage, it wasn't needed, because the system ran stable, and there were no crashes or hangs during the stresstests of AIDA64.

So now for my own CPU i have the following setup:
I7 4770k
Gigabyte Z87x-UD5H
Corsair H100i WaterCooling
16 Gb Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866

At the moment the I7 is running at stock speed (3.5 Ghz).
Everything in the BIOS is at defaults and i haven't touched anything yet,
so my questions are the following:

I want an OC of approx. 4.2-4.4 ghz, what should i change in the bios (voltages, multipliers etc.)?
Do i have to change the memory clock of my memory? it is running at stock so maybe it could be a bit faster to not bottleneck anything. And if I do, how? (either way, i want to know how to do it :) )

Are there any bottlenecks possible if i don't OC my memory?

What is a safe voltage for my cpu and what are safe temps with my cooler, because a lot of people say 1.25 volt is enough but maybe it could be a bit lower.

Thank you very much in advance and i look forward to your answers!

(Sorry for any questions that may have been asked before, my sincere apology for that matter)

Another question, if I don't OC the memory, which is running at stock, will it bottleneck me? And what are safe temps to begin with at 4.4 Ghz, running idle, to full load?

And btw is it normal that the temps fluctuate at idle? sometimes one core just goes to 28 or 32 degrees celsius and then drops again. Sry for the amount of questions.

No.

The haswell CPU memory controller is designed for 1333/1600. overclocking your memory increases the CPU's memory controller heat = less stable CPU, again each chip will vary with temp/voltage/ram o/c for stability.

i wouldn't want to run my CPU at anything over 80 deg in p95. - it's personal choice.

Fine.

Yes.
