Any help would be great to fix this problem.
Here are systems specs:
Alienware m18x R1
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
i7 2670QM overclocked to 3.2Ghz
8GB 1600Mhz RAM
Raid 0 500Gb HDD's (At start up 0 HDD has "error occurred" next to it)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560m 1.5GB
Problems Details:
I'll describe it best I can. I'm online like right now while I was writing this it froze nothing could be done making me hard restart it. It started one day when I was on a website. I never go on that website anymore due to the fact of after a few minutes on my computer froze unable to do anything so had to hard restart. After turning my PC back on it has the "error occurred" Message next to the HDD I had said above. When I'm playing music or just surfing the web it does it. So it more or less is random when it freezes up. I'm thinking it's my HDD I've had this HDD since Christmas Eve 2011. That's when I received this computer. It's been fine until then. The HDD "error occurred" message appeared about give or take 4 months ago or longer not completely sure when it happened. I have over 500GB free so there not a over storage problem causing it. So the only I can think of is the HDD the error is on causing the problem.
Is the correct do I need to buy new HDD.
I have one new WD scorpio black 750GB not installed on this PC yet cause I'm waiting to buy another one on Cyber Monday.
Is there something else that could be causing it to freeze?
Please Help I would appreciate it greatly.
