Mobo: Evga 113-yw-e115
RAM: DDR2 800mhz

I currently have a pentium e2200 CPU and can get a q9400 for round 30$ from my friend, i've googled around and cant find any reason id have issues, but i want to make sure before i spend money

yep, your motherboard support C2 Q9xxx class..no need to worry.

Go get it..

Well, for $30, from e2200 to Q9400 is a huge upgrade :)
