Current system:
PC Specs

I'm purchasing a new fan, motherboard, and CPU and my current PSU is 300watts will I need to upgrade that for these 3 parts to work? If so, less is more in my eyes. Will I be able to get away with a 400w, 450w, or 500w PSU?

Yes, around 500-650W would be good. Are you planning to OC?

Well, I guess I could but probably won't ever need to OC mainly using my computer for games such as BF4, Skyrim, LoL, and maybe SC2, along with some 3d rendering using autocad software.

You suggest I need a 500w PSU?

I don's see any need for you to upgrade. Unless you plan to get a GPU that system will survive fine un-OC'd on 300w. Maybe go to 400w or 450 unbranded if it's an old PSU.It's an 84w rated processor. I'm typing this off a 130w 6 core processor with a 200w GPU, same RAM running off a 600w PSU with 4 internal HDDs and a SSD...

And before you say it, no, my PSU isn't the bottleneck, I know what I need and it's not more power.

Just spoke to a friend of mine regarding the same question and he mentioned that a GPU will give better performance than upgrading CPU/mobo. Is what he said true? Knowing that I've got a A8-5500 w/ 7560D Radeon integrated card and MSI MS-7778 motherboard will a say GTX 760 card be compatible with my current system? If that's the case I'm more than willing to go out and buy a GTX 760 tomorrow or even fork over extra for something better than that even.
