Using a tower, NOT a laptop. HP, Windows XP-Service Pack 3 Professional. I have a Via Rhine II Fast Ethernet card that has a built in wireless adapter. PCI wifi card. My wireless connection does not show in the Control Panel and my Windows Zero Configuration is running. Therefore the various possible solutions I have found via the internet do not apply such as "right click on wireless network connections, and the left click enable". They all say the same thing that doesn't help at all. I now ask all of you. I use to have the Clearwire dongle as my internet connection, but don't anymore. I no longer have the dongle either. I think it or myself disable my wireless capabilities. Can anyone please help me? Let me know if I haven't provided enough info about my problem, and I will correct that promptly. Thank you so much!

is this a usb or pci card wifi card. if it pci card try reinstalling the mb chipset drivers and the updated card drivers. if it a usb dongle do windows see that you plugged it in. if not have you tried another usb port?? if you did try reinstalling chipset/usb drivers and dongle drivers. try the usb dongle in another pc.
