What CPU should I buy?

I need some advice on which CPU to chose, I'm looking for one that would be good for gaming but not too expensive. I would really appreciate any recommendations/advice you guys can provide me with.

I'm actually looking to buy a laptop and my budget for the whole thing would be up to $1000.

I'll give you a few good value cpus though. AMD FX 6300 for around 120-130, AMD FX 8320 for around 160-170

For a 1000 total budget, either should work well. If you can work in a better graphics card by going with the 6300 definitely do that.

here is a system that is within your budget which will be pretty good for gaming. Feel free to choose another case, I picked that one just to have 50.00 budgeted to the case.

Edit:

If you need a monitor then either you'll need to go a little over budget, chose a cheaper case and maybe go with the FX 6300.
