Internet speed all of a sudden slow?

Hey guys, I am having a problem where suddenly my internet speed has slowed down a lot. I have a 25 mbps connection at home and usually, my internet speeds were pretty good although now all of a sudden when i try to watch a youtube video in 1080p or even in 720p, it starts buffering and downloads have slowed down a lot too. I have brighthouse and also using the modem that came with the service and am using the Cisco M20 router. The pc is running windows 8.1. Also there are about four (2 smartphones, 1 tablet, 1 iPod) devices using the wifi network. I also tried connecting the router to the modem directly via an ethernet cable and still no change. Can someone give me any advice?

well that looks normal...that's a good d/l speed man, in my opinion its just the youtube servers, they suck now! Ads play flawlessly though, don't they ?
;) I get that same problem. Look into software tweaks for your web browser (google "how to optimize firefox for speed", or chrome, or opera etc) also consider using a tcp/ip optimizer. Now if this problem persists on other streaming video sites etc, you might have a virus or broken hardware, but based of your ookla results its normal.

btw I think if you google a 'time warner youtube buffer hack/tweak' ,,something along those lines. theres def something like that floating around the web, could be the answer to your prayers

Suddenly slow connection of your internet connection, Try http://speedtest.net for testing if you pay the bill of 4 MB Internet Connection.

no thats very very slow. look into upgrading the router firmware. or replace the modem if you dont use a router. verify with your ISP what you should be getting.
