If you don't want to overclock, go with an i5 3570 (non-k) an an asrock H77 pro4. If you do want to overclock, go with an i5 3570k and an asrock z77 extreme 4.

Bear in mind that overclocking, even with just a cheap $30 air cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO, will get you up to a 30% increase in CPU clock speed. That's pretty significant.
Oh god yes - a 550w unit can power a non-overclocked 3570k with a GTX 670; that 650w unit is of good make and will easily handle overlclocking plus a future graphics upgrade.

(Part of that is that intel draws less power than amd, especially when overclocked, and part of it is just that new parts are much more power efficient than even generation old tech used to be.)

I ran that motherboard and Asus GTX 670 with a Corsair 500W, so yes it will handle it just fine. I would stick with the Ivy Bridge's for the now because the i5 3570 is just great for gaming. Btw, if you don't want to overclock, don't go for a Z77 motherboard unless there's a good deal for one and instead opt for the H77 chipset. There's no point paying extra for something you won't use.
