i almost positive i will be getting a second MSI geforce gtx 780 to put in my Rig, but i was watching a video on neweggs youtube channel on the pro's and cons of SLI and he said one of the cons was some games require some "software tuning". i'm not sure what he meant by that, but if i get SLI GPU's, will i have to tweak settings in my games to get them to perform better? i thought the reason of SLI was so i wouldn't have to tweak settings and i could run them all at the highest settings. maybe someone can tell me what he was talking about. if you'd like to see the video i'll link it, and just skip to 1:53, and the topic ends at 2:25. here's the vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZphJB5cUNKE someone please help me understand. thanks!

Splendid
Its not hard to SLI.
Your mobo is really good , so no problems there. the only thing is you will need a good quality 800 watt plus psu
Seat the second card into one of the pci-e slots , connect the SLI bridge to both cards, plug the 6/8 pin connectors from the psu, boot the pc , go into Nvidia control panel and select SLI, or just click the pop up on the task bar that says it has detected multi gpu for SLI.
You can even use Nvidia Experience to allow different SLI profiles for certain games.
