Recently I've tried to play Red Orchestra 2, it was horrible, I had to put resoloution to 800x600 and on lowest quality making the experience tedious. I'm wondering what is so bad about this computer since I recently bought new parts, here are the specs.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8076MB RAM
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type: Internal
Display Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB
Motherboard: z77 extreme 4 asrock recommended by toms hardware :)
Powersupply: Silvertstone Srider essentials 500w
Tower: MSI Tc-128
Solid ssd:
Cpucooler: Hyper 212 EVO COolermaster
Solid state drive: Vertex4 2.5 solid state drive.
Hardrive: Seagate 1 terabyte external hardrive

If you need anymore info, just tell me, Im not necessarily a computer guy but I just copied and pasted from dxdiag and typed some others out. All I want to know if its decent, average, and what I can get to improve this so I can play games at medium or possibly high settings. Cheers!

Solution
in the bios of your motherboard see if the ipgpu ram can be up to 256k or more. some bios you can some you cant. if you cant the issue is not your cpu but the onboard ipgpu. the intel ipgpus have just started entering the market. most games right now are written for amd or nvidia gpus.
if your looking to game on your pc toss in a good cheap gpu.

as long as you have good 650w power supply this make you system a good gaming rig.
