I know this may sound like a stupid question to some but I would rather be cautious and look stupid rather than just stupid. So my question, I currently have Samsung 4GB (2GBX2) of RAM installed on my computer and was wondering if it was alright to swap those out with some Crucial 8GB (4GBX2) of RAM and if so what difficulty am I looking at or may have?

not much...first off shut your pc off and pull the wire from the wall and wait 10 min to let power drain from the mb. some motherboard hold 5v and we dont want you to let out the magic smoke. on the mb unclip the old ram. when you do it should pop up for you. when you pull the ram out one slot at a time look at how it keyed. ram will only go in one way. put the dimm in and press down. if you lined it up right it click and the clip will lock in. dont force the ram. most people forcing the ram or clip will snap the ram clip off the mb.

CPU-Z say each memory stick I have is 2GB (2GBX2) 667MHZ, both added together is 1334MHZ so im guess the 8GB (4GBX2) 1333MHZ I want to get will work properly?

My system supports up to 16GB RAM so im sure 4GB sticks will work just fine. My MOBO is a M4A78LT-M and CPU is a AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.8 GHz dualcore. But again I dont see why it wouldnt support 4GB sticks when the whole system can be upgraded to 16GBs. I was looking to get these particular RAM sticks ---->http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=53063590A5CA7304 It says itll support my CM1630 system, but i wanted to check with the good ol boys here to make sure i was doing the right thing lol!
