Hey guys I'm building myself a supersexy mega awesome rig and ill trying to pass my old one off to a friend. I don't want to rip him off but I don't want to practically give it away.

Specs:
i3 540
8bg 1600 RAM
Ati 6870 1GB
600Watt PSU (Don't ask why)

I know that this rig is fairly pathetic because of its processor, but it still runs most games and med - high settings. Certain games like WoW it maxes out almost completely with only fps drops in areas with high populations. I really dont know what to charge him for it. I was going to say 300 bux but I keep thinking that might be too high. What do u guys think

If it is American $ (USD) then I would more than likely say it is worth $200. If that PSU is actually rather decent I would say $250. So anything between $200 and $300 is decent, would help if we had all the specs though but if everything follows roughly the same quality as what you have listed then I think I have it right.
