Good evening,

This is my first time posting here please be gentle :) I have been reading many different articles and posts on this site that have helped me compile a list of all components that I want in my new LGA 1150 gaming rig..... except for one, the motherboard. I am leaning towards the Maximus VI Formula, are there any reasons I should look at another option? Also any thoughts on my other components would be welcome.

Thanks

Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core
G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2400
MSI N780 LIGHTNING GeForce GTX 780
Cooler Master V1000
Samsung 840 EVO-Series 250GB
WD Black 4 TB Desktop Hard Drive
Cooler Master HAF X - Full Tower

Asus VI Formula is about as good as it gets for 1150 boards, however unless you plan to go SLI with heavy OC you don't need 1000w.
I would get a Seasonic USA 760XP2 or if you go SLI the 860XP2. They make 1000w PSUs if that's what you really want.

Would like to stay under $300 - $350 on the mobo. Nearest microcenter is 2 hours away.
