Do I need to overclock an AMD Athlon in order to play every game?

This is my soon-to-be system:

CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 750k
GPU: GTX 650 Ti boost 2GB
MoBo: FM2-A75MA-E35
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz
PSU: 500W Builder series

The other parts don't effect the performance. I want to know if, despite the low budget, this system will handle all mainstream games (thus excluding indie titles)? I do not mind lowering video quality in order to play games, I just want to play them. Will this be possible without having to overclock the parts?

Solution
Athlon II x4 750k is a good cpu, despite athlon title..
It's just a few fps slower than Phenom II 965..

well, as long you using some low resolution (less than hd 1920x1080), yes, it'll be bottleneck, but you'll get good fps..probably 60+ fps without lowering your game setting..

Overclock is not must do activity..as long as you happy and satisfy with your game, it's no need to overclock it.
