Hello, for the passed few months i have been playing with TERRIBLE lag on most games, I would run Arma 2 - DayZ with 10-25 FPS, and CoD: Black Ops 2 on 30 FPS. My build at the time was

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66GHz
RAM
G Skill Ripjaws 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 533MHz (7-7-7-20)
Motherboard
MSI G41M-P33 Combo(MS-7592) (CPU1)
Graphics
2019Vwal (1680x1050@59Hz)
S24B20/S24B30 (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST (EVGA)
Hard Drives
932GB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (SATA)

I asked around and was told that the problem was my processor, the Intel 2 Core Quad Q9400, it was a 2008 model, only ran at around 2.5 GHz. So i ordered a new Motherboard/PSU combo, i got the Asus M5A78L-M LX+ Motherboard, and the AMD FX4300 - Six-Core (6 x 3.5GHz).
It just came in the mail today and i spent half the day putting it in, downloading drivers. Finally i finished and ran Arma 2 Dayz, when i got in I was so disappointed. I lagged right at the beginning, 10-20 fps, even worse than my other setup, what is wrong with my computer? I have replaced almost every part in the computer and I still get extreme lag on games, I thought the AMD FX6300 would be able to run the game at over 60 frames, but instead its worse, could somebody please help me figure out what is wrong, I've spent alot of time and money into this computer.

This is the post that i posted before i got the mobo/cpu combo, please check it out to follow though my experience with this issue

First question. You say downloading drivers, but did you do a clean windows install ? After a motherboard change, you kinda have to reinstall windows.

If you did, then... You may have to lower details. The 650Ti although not a bard card, it is in no way a beast of a card. Try the lowest details in arma2 and see hot it runs (just for testing).

Yes i reinstalled windows - AFTER i changed the motherboard, and yes i did a clean windows install, but i did not reformat. I still do have the windows.old folder in my C drive. Also, the lowest settings make the game look so bad, i cant see whats going on, detail is different on arma2, but either way, it made little to no difference
