Portable HDD partitions are unaccessible - Error Shown X: not accessible , the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.
Steps Performed to resolve the Issue -
1. tried reconnecting it and restarting the laptop.
2. Changed the Data cable of the Enclosure
3. tried rebuilding MBR
4. Tried Scan disk, didnot run
5. Tried to search for partitions via Test Disk and Easeus Partition recovery - both softwares show that there are two partitions present in the HDD and they are unformatted. since there is no unallocated space they are unable to search for new partitions as technically both partitions are there with corrupt file system
I want to repair the file system rather then going for data recovery tool as it will lead to change in file names.
Please suggest how to go about that as the HDD is primary backup HDD and i have a backup HDD of this HDD i.e. a Dell 1TB portable which is simply not even turning on, so as of now my best hopes lie with this HDD
