270X or 280X for GTA Games

Hello folks,

I am looking out to buy a graphics card for GTA5 (No release confirmed yet :( )...

I will be using Dell S2240L IPS 21.5 Inch screen....

Please suggest if 270X can produce high quality textures when used with AMD FX 8350.

(I am also considering to buy Asus 280X instead of 270X )

Finally question is, Is 280X worth the price when compared to 270X...

Because everyone lives in India and knows how much both cards cost there.

Well to begin with, no one knows how well GTA5 is going to perform on the PC. But in general a 270x will probably not perform very well at 1080p with graphic details cranked up, just as with most of the latest games.

The 280x is definitely a lot more powerful than the 270x, and whether it's worth the price will be up to how important that extra performance is to you.

What about my monitor, I preferred IPS because, I dont play competitive FPS games, and I do Image editing and stuff...

Should I buy a TN (23") or IPS(21.5") :ouch:
