Hi lads,
I need a bit of help with what motherboard to buy. I'm going to be using a i5 4670k. Needs to have great price to performance. Was thinking about asus maximus vi hero but idk

I'll be using it for mostly gaming and things like hd movie watching web surfing etc.

Suggestions appreciated,
Thanks.

well the outher thing i was loooking at was the voltage regulators that there all useing giga. seems to like a 6+ phase but dont know much on what msi uses. asrock ex6 is a 12 phase[kinda] its funny that its not like theres a standered on intel boards more like the more you pay the better you get on that but its somthing i have been looking in to theres a review at overclocker net [ Z77 Extreme4 and Z77 Extreme6 Dual Review ] and read that about the regulators and that is what got me looking that aspect.
with asus z87 boards you need to look over the specs. there a few things that they have droped off these boards that may be importante to you as with me its the com/serieal/rs-232 port header witch i still use is gone, and that one thing scratched asus off my buy list. so if you got some hardware that you still want to use you need to be sure that there boards will still support them.
