Is it possible to go Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit from Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit?

I have a version of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit that I had lying around but the product key is lost. I need to install a 64-bit OS to use all 8GB of my RAM I have installed.

I've found that I don't need the extra features that Windows 7 Ultimate has and don't really want to pay the Win7 Ultimate price for 64 bit.

Is it possible to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium but make the jump to 64 bit? I'm not worried about losing data as this is a new PC and I've heard something about doing a "clean install"

Thanks in advance!

Yes, normally you could use your 32 bit key on the same version of the 64 bit windows, but since you lost your key, you will need a new one. Even if you still had your key, you would still be required to do a clean install.
