Hey guys... So last night I was changing some components around on my PC and when I put everything back together, boot it back up my hard drive (storage) can't be found. My ssd is found and so is my disk drive. Has my storage HDD died? I don't feel it running when I pull it out. I tried multiple power and sata cables on it and still nothing. I've went into disk management and nothing is in there about it either. I've never had a HDD die so I'm not sure what to look for. Is it dead? Thanks.

Solution
That's a relief. I think that your old HDD can be repaired. If you cant see any burning marks or smell coming out of that HDD, then the 5V TVS Diode and nearby 0Ohms resistors on the PCB has something to do with it.

I am not the best guy to give you suggestion, you can contact "fzabkar" via PM, he is the one who knows things. Good luck.
