I have a wireless modem with 6 ports(1 DSL port,1 VOIP port & 4 LAN ports) but the cable that carries my internet connection has RJ45 plug(This is what he told when i asked him)..

I want to set up wirelss connection with the above mentioned modem..so i tried to insert my internet cable into the DSL port of the router but it does not fit...

Can any body tell me what should i do?

Is there any converter available for Ethernet cable to DSl port...

Please help..

Get a different router made for the new modem. If you had DSL before and have a new cable connection now, you need to replace the router. You can't convert the cable to work with the DSL modem.
