Is a GTX560ti enough for next-gen games at 1440X900?

Hi I play games at 1440X900 and am satisfied with 40fps and do not need 60fps. Will a GTX560ti be enough to run next-gen games at this resolution with medium-high settings? I've seen Crysis 3 running a 560ti at 1080p medium settings.

8Gb DDR3 1333Mhz
750W psu
GT630
H61m-p21 motherboard

you going to buy it right? then it is a good choice though but you can choose a much similar price range current gen gpus and a bit better performers 650ti boost for example, or a 660
and yeah you can get 40 fps and more easily at medium/high at that resolution in most of new games

If not for the new consoles I would say you could probably hold out at least another 6 months, but due to the console upgrades we will likely see much harder to run games in the very near future. For the most part you probably won't have much of an issue running games on low at 1440x900 but I'd say you should upgrade either now or with the next GPU generation (I think Q2 next year?).

yes it will most likely but i really would like to suggest getting a newer card.

and please don't even think about it if the 560TI is more than $90.

If you can get the 560ti @ a cheap price its okay for gaming upto 1440 X 900. It recommended to buy the latest gen card if possible. Radeon R9 270 is a good choice.

I'm thinking of leaving the 560ti and getting the 760 by January. I have an H61m-p21 motherboard. Will the Gigabyte GTX760 work? Also, will I be able to use a DVI to VGA converter to use the gpu on my monitor?

your motherboard won't have problems with ANY graphics card and an adapter will work fine.

good idea to wait a little if you can get better. a 760 is about twice the performance than a 560TI.

I have a coolermaster elite 430. Will a 760 fit in the case? Also, if decided to go 1080p, would the 760 still suffice for next-gen games?Bear in mind, I'm fine with 40fps at medium-high or high. I don't really care for ultra.

The Linustechtips benchmark showed the gtx 760 get 35fps on Crysis 3 at maxed 1080p!! That's pretty good for me. As long as I beat consoles, I don't care.
