I haven't build a gaming pc in over a decade and have no clue what to look for nowadays. So I've been lurking on here and a bunch of other forums to see what's good. I narrowed it down to the mobo that is within my budget ($150 and less). If someone can point out which mobo is better or recommend something else, that would be greatly appreciate it.

The PC will be mainly for gaming and some video/photo editing. I hope to be doing some OC too.

The choices:
MSI z87-G45 Gaming
MSI z87-G65 Gaming
AsRock z87 Extreme 4
Gigabyte GA-z87x-UD4H
Gigabyte GA-z87x-UD3H

Quick list of Build: Full List
cpu: i7-4770k
gpu: MSi HD7870
memory: G.Skill Sniper 2133 8gb (will be getting more soon)
Windows 7 or 8.1 (haven't made up my mind)

Thank you all in advance!

Honestly all of those boards are pretty solid, and all have drawbacks, pick one that is in your price range and that you like the looks of. They are all solid brands who should last for years. None of them are top end boards, all of them will function as advertised.

Thanks for the input. After doing more extensive research for the past 2 hours, I found the benchmark for all these mother boards on Tomshardware. After comparing the numbers, the new model mobo aren't much better than the older models by much. I'm kinda leaning more towards the AsRock z87 extremem4 right now. However, what do you think about open boxs mobo? The microcenter around has a UD4H open box ranging from $125-$145.

Thanks, I think I may do this unless someone else have any updated info or hands on experience with the mobo that I listed.
