If a person only wants to play games at lower settings on 720p then is it not more affordable for them to buy a lower end card every 2 years, rather than a medium/higher end card until it needs to be replaced. I think a higher end card will last about 6 years on lower settings.
They say that a mid to high tier card is the price to performance sweet spot, but is this the case for lower settings? Why not get a lower card every 2 years if a person only want lower settings? Isn't is cheaper?
